VINEYARD LOCATION: Monforte d’Alba
ALTITUDE: 400 – 450 m above s.l.
HARVEST: hearly October, manual harvest and selecion. Grapes are immediately send to the winery.
WINEMAKING: soft pressing, fermentation at controlled temperature in steel tanks for 9 months and then bottle for 5 months.
TASTING AND COLOR: deep ruby red with purple highlights. The palate is rich in red fruits with a distint depth and acidity tipical of the Barbera. Aroma is characterize of violet and cherries.
PAIRING: risotti, pasta, truffle, roast, cured meat
ALCOHOL: 14,5% vol
SERVICE TEMPERATURE: 17-18° C
