ALTA LANGA DOCG 2016
GRAPE VARIETAL: Pinot Nero and Chardonnay
VINEYARD LOCATION: Monforte d’Alba
ALTITUDE: 400 – 450 m above s.l.
HARVEST: end of August, manual harvest and selection.
WINEMAKING: soft pressing with inert gas. Just the must of the first pressing is fermented at controlled temperature in steel tanks for 6 month with weekly battonage. Follows bottlilng and a second fermentation on yeast for 36 months. Then we add our secred liqueur d’expedition and we put the cork.
TASTING AND COLOR: the wine presents a straw-yellow color with golden hues, bright and a good smoothness. The aroma is complex, with yellow flowers, peach and a very delicate bread crust. Palate is definite but fresh and elegant. Fine bubbles clean the mouth and confers a good aromantic persistence.
PAIRING: perfect for aperitif, but also with fish, vegetables and fresh cheese.
